Prerequisites

Each course has published prerequisites and it is assumed that each participant has met those prerequisites.  Courses cannot be combined with material from lower level courses if participants do not meet the prerequisites.  Refunds will not be made for participants who do not meet the course prerequisites.

Payment

Full payment is required no later than 15 working days prior to the start of your class.  If full payment is not received by this time, your class will be automatically cancelled.

After receiving our invoice, payment can be made by one of the following methods:

• Company cheque
• Visa
• MasterCard
• American Express
• PayPal

For classes which are scheduled to take place within 30 calendar days, payment can only be accepted via credit card or PayPal.

For classes which are scheduled to take place more than 30 calendar days, payment will also be accepted by company cheque.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel (without rescheduling) your class, the following refunds will be given:

Rescheduling

• You may reschedule a class only once.
• There will be no penalty for requesting a reschedule more than 15 working days prior to the class start date.
• Rescheduling requests made 15 full working days or less prior to the start date of the class will incur a penalty fee of 25% of the base price of the class multiplied by the number of participants excluding discounts and promotions.
• Classes that are rescheduled but later cancelled are not eligible for a refund.
• The revised class date must be chosen at the time of rescheduling and must start no later than six months after the initial class start date.

We may cancel or postpone a class without penalty at any time for any reason, including but not limited to, severe inclement weather, natural or local disaster, power outage, or airline strike.  You will be notified via email or telephone of such a cancellation.  In such a case, you are entitled to a full refund if an alternative date cannot be arranged.

Location

Classes are conducted using your own facilities.  If desired, classes can be conducted using an offsite training centre for an additional fee.  Contact us for details as additional lead time is necessary to coordinate a suitable facility rental.

Equipment & Logistics

The customer is responsible for the provision of:

• An appropriate training venue
• Sufficient power outlets and electrical capacity
• PC, keyboard, mouse, and screen suitable for the particular course. We will advise minimum requirements to run the course.
• Suitable workspace for each student - table/desk and chairs
• Ethernet cabling and switch
• Video display projector
• Whiteboard and flipchart
• Participant refreshments

There is no charge for classroom setup.  By mutual agreement, the classroom can be configured the evening prior to or the morning of the first day.  In either case, approximately 90 minutes may be required for this task, typically less though.

Language

All classes are conducted in English.

Delivery

All classes are delivered by Enigma Logic Inc.

Lectures may not be recorded.

Courseware

The provided courseware is in both printed and machine readable form.  You agree to abide by the licenses of the courseware and not duplicate the copyrighted material.

Limitation of Liability

Enigma Logic's total liability arising in any way from any service delivered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for such service.

Enigma Logic will not be liable for:

• loss of, or damage to, your records or data
• third-party claims against you for damages
• indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.
• delays or the inability to cover the designated material due to faulty customer equipment or equipment which does not meet the minimum required specifications for the class.

Neither party is responsible for failure to fulfill any obligations due to causes beyond its control.

Changes

Any changes to your class delivery must be agreed to by both parties in writing.  All other changes are null and void.

Warranties

There are no warranties or conditions, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or as to results to be attained by attending classes or using the provided courseware.

General

• The classes offered by linuxtraining.ca are not offered as occupational training. They are available to individuals whose employer pays any applicable charges.
• Participants are expected to act in a professional manner.  At the sole discretion of the instructor, participants which impede class progress or otherwise impact learning by other participants will be dismissed without a refund.  The instructor reserves the right to cancel the class delivery at any time due to inappropriate participant behavior without providing a refund.
